About the Ministry

The Children's Ministry of Bethel is a special place for children to grow. The future of the church includes children. Preparing for a more effective children's ministry requires energy, planning, prayer and direction from the Holy Spirit. We want children to participate in a dynamic ministry that offers a life changing experience.

The Children’s Ministry of Bethel takes a holistic approach in ministering the Word of God to children. We want children to know God is everything that surrounds them. By taking a holistic approach we are able to give children what they need spiritually, socially, physically and emotionally.

The ministry team strives to create an environment that is safe, welcoming, and kid-targeted for ministry. Children are allowed to experience the love of God through song, play, hands-on activities and much more.

We offer Special Needs Ministry for our servicing ages and grades on first, second and third Sundays during the 10:45 a.m. service.

Children's Ministry Registration
If you are a member or attend services 3 or more times per month, we encourage you to register your child. Registering your child provides valuable information to the ministry regarding your child. Registration forms can be picked up at the Children's Ministry Sign-In Desk. Children receive their "Cool Cat" birthday buck cards and lots of cool information when they are registered with the ministry.

Monthly Lesson Review

Wow! Our October Series, "Success with God," has taught us the fundamentals of how to be successful through the Lord! As we continue to grow our children, we will not step into the dynamics of handling anger. Anger is one of the strongest human emotions that can be good or bad. Anger is a strong feel of displeasure, rage or fury. We live in a fallen world where sin is rampant. There are plentiful opportunities to sin in our anger. Sometimes we handle things but maybe not the way God wants us to. During the next month, we will share with children the Godly way to "Handle It!...God's Way" (a Study on Anger) and how not to yield to temptation of anger in the ungodly way.

The theme for the month of November is PRAYER... 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philippians 4:6; Matthew 21:22; Proverbs 15:29. Take a verse each week and review with your children!

Remember to talk to your children after each worship service to discuss what they have learned and help them live God's Word daily. God's Word is powerful and filled with excitment. It is great to know God, to serve Him and to love Him.

SPIRITUAL CHALLENGE: Learn Memory Verses each week
